OUR COMMUNITY PLEDGE

Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our staff, our guests, and each and every member of our community. We have taken this time to carefully implement protocols outlined by the Los Angeles County of Public Health and California State Regulations. Please check below to what steps we are taking to provide you with safe dine in service.

STAFF WELLNESS CHECKS

We check staff temperatures at the start of each shift, along with conducting a wellness checklist before starting work for the day. Our comprehensive sick leave policy encourages staff to stay home if they are not feeling well.

REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT

We require ALL staff to wear face masks and gloves. Staff with increased customer interaction or sanitation duties are given additional PPE, including face shields and non-permeable aprons. To help keep us safe, we always require that anyone entering our space wear a face covering, except while eating or drinking in designated areas.

FREQUENT HANDWASHING

We adhere to the guidelines issued by the FDA and CDC. Staff are required to change gloves between activities and/or every 30 minutes.

STRICT SANITATION STANDARDS

We disinfect all high-touchpoint surfaces frequently with EPA-registered disinfectant. Hand sanitizer stations are available by the host desk and restrooms.

SOCIAL DISTANCE MEASURES

We have repositioned our tables and chairs to ensure proper social distancing in our dining room. Our staff has also been instructed to comply with our new standards when greeting, serving and cleaning to minimize frequent contact with all guests. We have also installed plexiglass shields for added protection.

RESERVATIONS FOR CROWD CONTROL

Our dining room will be by reservations only, in order to accommodate guests without having crowds in the restaurant. While we may be able to accommodate walk-ins, reservations can be made online from our website, over the phone, or via Opentable. Guests will receive a text or call when their table is ready so they may wait in their car, or outside the restaurant, when they arrive.

CONTACTLESS MENU & PAYMENT SYSTEM

Guests may view our menu directly from their smartphone or tablet using a QR Code provided. Each location has a limited number of tablets that can be loaned tableside for reading assistance. Single-use paper menus are also available upon request. Hugo's has also adopted a contact-free payment device that will allow you to handle your own credit card without it leaving your table or car.

CURBSIDE TAKEOUT & DELIVERY

Hugo's offers curbside takeout and delivery services to meet the needs of those feeling safer to eat at home, but want to avoid the extra cost of couriers. This includes all Hugo's Pantry orders. Our contactless payment system means you never have to leave your car. Just call us from the parking lot when you arrive. Each location has two parking spaces set aside for Curbside service.
