Lightly oxidized, from the Fujian Province in China. The most fabled and cherished oolong in China. Named after Guanyin, a bodhisattva ("one who is qualified to enter nirvana, but chooses to remain on earth to bring others to enlightenment). One sip and you will understand.
Staff tasting impressions: mineral-y, buttery, lilac, gardenias, rose, pears and a hint of honeysuckele . Long and lingering aftertaste.
