Chianti Classico 2006 – Le Corti DOCG, Chianti, Italy

A dark garnet colored wine whose aromas evoke red berries, cassis, cedar, spice and smoke. A big, full-bodied Chianti with a very ripe fruity attack of plums and prunes and a medium finish with a touch of wood and leather notes. This wine possesses great mouthfeel and has a good balance between structure, acidity, and tannin. It is considered to be one of the most representative wines of the Chianti Classico appellation.
